Fabric Pots/Grow Pouches are a great way to maximise aeration and root growth to grow bigger plants in smaller containers. They have many benefits over standard pots and plastic planter bags and can be used for different applications eg: used as a standard planter, used in-ground where it effectively draws water from the surrounding soil, or in your ebb and flow hydro system where the nutrients will be absorbed through the wall of the pot.
When used in an above-ground application, they promote stronger, healthier root systems by "air-pruning" - when the roots are effectively burnt off when they are exposed to the low-humidity air at the edge of the pot, encouraging new vigorous root growth and preventing plant stress and associated pest and disease issues that come with root bounds plants.
